Epson Debuts Portable Document Camera

Epson introduced a portable document camera document camera ELPDC06, designed to work with projectors. Targeted at education segment, the camera is especially designed to help teachers expand their presentation options by projecting live videos of desktop items that can include hard copy documents or live demonstrations. 
“Epson is always actively engaging teachers to explore how we can improve their work with our technologies,” said Samba Moorthy, Senior General Manager, Sales and Marketing, Epson. “The Epson ELPDC06 document camera is a result of this interaction, and it is the ideal tools for complementing the digital projectors that are so widely used in modern classrooms.”
Weighing 0.96kg, the Epson ELPDC06 document camera can be folded into a compact, portable form factor. It can be connected directly via USB connection to selected Epson projectors. The camera is USB-powered. It includes 2MP digital video camera with 4x digital zoom and easy one-touch autofocus button. The box package includes ArcSoft specialist multimedia software to allow basic editing of captured images.
